It is another beautiful example of religious architecture in Toluca. 

It was part of the Santa Cruz del Milagro Convent, of which a fraction dating back to the 17th century is preserved. 

It has a main facade with three levels. The first level features the entrance door with a semi-circular arch flanked by six Tuscan-style pillars, and between each pair of pillars, there are four niches containing sculptures of saints topped with medallions. In the second level, right in the middle, the order's coat of arms can be seen. The third level has two elevated pilasters framing a large coral-shaped window.

It has a single bell tower consisting of two levels with six openings that hold the bells.

The golden ornamentation predominates both in the arches and pilasters, in Ionic style. 

Inside, it has several neoclassical-style chapels decorated with beautiful oil paintings.
