Templo de Jesús María
This temple corresponds to the Dominican nun convent founded in 1722.
Its facade is made of yellow and light gray quarry stone. It is one of the few temples that still preserves its elongated atrium, surrounded by pink quarry stone pilasters.
The interior is worth admiring for its ribbed pointed arch vaults, fluted double capital pilasters, neoclassical altarpieces, oil paintings dating back to the colonial era, the image of the Virgin of Rayo, and the original railings of the high choirs.
