It is one of the places that reflects part of Córdoba's history.
The portals of Córdoba date back to 1620, although additional constructions were added during the 17th and 18th centuries.
This venue served as a place to accommodate travelers during the 19th century. Figures such as Benito Juárez, Agustín de Iturbide, Maximilian, and Carlota stayed here.
It was also the home of the poet Jorge Cuesta from Córdoba, and currently houses the Municipal Library, the City Museum, and the House of Culture.
