Plaza Mayor 31 de Marzo (Manuel Velasco Suárez)
This plaza has been the center of civic and commercial activities in San Cristóbal.
Since colonial times, it has housed a market and served as a water supply center with a water tank. It was also the site for the two main celebrations, San Juan and Christmas.
Currently, it is surrounded by buildings representing civil and religious authorities, as well as arcades housing various businesses.
Its kiosk dates back to the early 20th century and has recently been renamed Plaza Manuel Velasco Suárez.
