Parroquia San Lucas Evangelista de Mazatepec
It was built in 1696 by the Franciscans and is dedicated to Saint Luke, the physician apostle.
The Sanctuary of the Lord of Calvary was erected on the foundations of a pre-Hispanic ceremonial center.
The complex consists of a small atrium and a small neoclassical-style temple.
Most of the elements inside date from the 19th century.
Some archaeological remains can be found at the back of the temple.
