This temple was built in 1693.
It stands out for its facade in stipe baroque style or popular baroque, considered one of the most beautiful in Tlaxcala.
Its atrium is completely enclosed by inverted arches and leads to the impressive facade made of white mortar, profusely decorated with a wide variety of shapes. In the evening, when the sun's rays reflect on it, the church seems to be made of pearl.
It has a tower with fine Solomonian columns in the upper sections.
Inside, it has several neoclassical altarpieces. Its main altarpiece is white with gold and has a baroque style. Here, the patron saint, San Nicolás de Bari, is located.
