Parroquia de San José de Analco
It was built in 1543 and was considered the most important temple of its time.
The facade is composed of two levels topped with an attic. The first level has a Plateresque style, and the columns with ornamentation stand out, showing a clear indigenous influence. The columns flank two niches that hold the images of the Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph.
The interior is a Roman basilical-type ensemble with beautiful gold decorations. The main altar is made of quarry stone with gold details.
It has a chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Health.
In front of the temple, there is a square with a fountain and green areas.
