Regional Museum of History
The museum is located in a house built in 1901 by the teacher Refugio Reyes Rivas, known for its eclectic style.
It has nine rooms that exhibit topics such as Paleontology, showcasing endemic fossils; Archaeology, discussing the pre-Hispanic groups of the region; Conquest, covering the Chichimeca War, the Silver Route, and the Royal Road of the Interior; and Stories of Faith, which, taking advantage of the house's chapel, recounts the cultural importance and evolution of religiosity.
The museum offers guided tours, educational workshops, and summer courses. It also organizes temporary exhibitions, concerts, and conferences. The second courtyard is used as an open-air forum.
