Museo de la Caña y el Azúcar (Sugar Cane Museum)
This museum was founded with donations from the population of Quesería and the local sugar mill.
It is a place where visitors can learn more about the process of obtaining sugar and the role this product has played in the history of the town, dating back to 1645 when Fray Antonio Pérez founded the first sugar mill.
It has three exhibition rooms. The first displays a variety of items that belonged to different members of the community and were used in their work in the fields.
The second room houses tools used in the sugar industry, and the third room contains some sacred art pieces from the mill's chapel.
The museum also features a showcase with various books by local authors, as well as documents, photographs, and other historical objects, including a collection of ancient ornaments used by the priests of Quesería.
