Museo Jardín Botánico Faustino Miranda
The Botanical Garden showcases 98% of plant species from all regions of Chiapas.
It is divided into several sections: high and medium subperennial and subdeciduous jungle trees and shrubs, deciduous lowland jungle trees and shrubs, succulents and cacti, medicinal plants, ornamental plants, cycads, and an orchid garden.
The museum also exhibits Chiapas wood, including fossil woods.
There is another section dedicated to medicinal plants where a great diversity of plants used in traditional medicine can be observed, as well as a section dedicated to Flowers of Chiapas, where the colorful variety of flowers from this state can be seen.
