Cultural heritage site inscribed in 2003 on the World Heritage List.
Its construction took place from 1751 to 1758 under the direction of Friar Junípero Serra. It is located in the center of the Magical Town of Jalpan de la Serra, in the main square.
It consists of an atrium, cloister, pilgrims' portal, and the church, with a chapel in the annex on the left side. The stucco and stone facade stands out because of the contrast between the ochre of the pilasters and the yellow of its decorative flower-shaped details.
