Iglesia de San Rafael o Santa Escuela de Cristo
Founded by Father Luis Felipe Neri de Alfaro in 1742.
It is located next to the atrium of the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel.
It has a two-level façade. The first level displays semi-circular arches and Doric-style pilasters with floral motifs. The second level features a coralline window framed by a pink quarry stone pointed arch with clear Gothic influence and a medallion with Christ at the top.
The church is interesting due to its square bell tower with three levels, built in a Moorish style.
The interior consists of a single nave with four-section domes and side altars. The church is illuminated by Gothic-style windows.
The main altar is occupied by the image of the archangel San Rafael, flanked by two columns.
