Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe
The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe was part of the Convent of San Juan, founded in the 16th century.
It is also known as the Church of Buen Tono, as it was part of the tobacco factory of the same name during the 19th century.
In 1911, the original temple was demolished to build the current church with a marked French influence. Lanterns and stained glass windows were brought from France for the construction, although the pipe organ was manufactured in the United Kingdom.
In front of it is the Plaza de San Juan, which was known as "Moyotlán" during the pre-Hispanic era and housed a commercial market during the colonial period.
At one end, the famous San Juan Market is located.
