This building features Art Nouveau reminiscences.

It was inaugurated in 1901 as the venue for the legislative power of the State of Tlaxcala.

The Legislative Palace, also known as Palacio Juárez, served this purpose until 1982.

By the end of the 20th century, renovations were made to its facade and interiors. However, there is still a harmony between the rustic Mexican decoration of its exterior and the refined French-inspired style of its interior.

Currently, it houses the Tourism Secretariat, and art exhibitions by great Tlaxcalan artists are held on the ground floor.
