It is located in the heart of the La Encrucijada Biosphere Reserve, surrounded by the tallest mangroves in the Americas, making it an ideal place for exploring mangroves, lagoons, and estuaries such as El Aguaje and El Silencio, where you can observe birds, crocodiles, and reptiles, among other inhabitants of the area.

It offers cabins, a community restaurant, an environmental interpretation center, and ecotourism tours.
