This is an 18th-century building.
The House of the Dogs was constructed by Mariano de las Casas, a renowned engineer of the colony.
The construction stands out for its quarry appliques and gargoyle-like sculptures resembling dogs, hence its name.
It features a closed patio with semi-circular arches and a fountain in the shape of a cup supported by three winged figures. This eclectic combination of various elements gives it its unique character.
