The House of the Viceroy's Wife is located on the northern side of the main square.
Doña Francisca de la Gándara Cardona was married to Viceroy Félix María Calleja.
The house was built in 1736, and what remains of the original construction is its large courtyard and a wooden paneled gate since the facade was covered in stone in 1948.
It has a magnificent balcony, considered one of the most elegant in the city due to its ironwork and cornices.
