The location of this water park was chosen by the Aztec emperor Moctezuma Ilhuicamina in 1496 as a retreat due to its crystal-clear waters surrounded by beautiful amate trees and a natural pond with healing properties.

It features archaeological remains, pools, slides, wading pools, drinking water springs, camping areas, cabins, a suspension bridge, restaurants, waterfalls, rivers, and the Blue Pool, which is the source of the river.

The water park offers dressing rooms, barbecue grills, and ample parking.
