A construction from the 17th century where Vicenzo Barroso de la Escayola, who designed the Morelia Cathedral, participated.
The main entrance of its atrium and its facade are made of pink quarry stone. The image of San Agustín perched on a bicephalous eagle stands out. Inside, two Baroque altarpieces can be admired, one dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe and the other to the Virgin Dolorosa.
The main altarpiece is a spectacular piece of craftsmanship, carved in wood and gilded with a clear Baroque style, flanked by four estipite columns. On the altar, eight images can be seen, including the one of San Agustín dating back to 1760.
Another treasure in the church is a magnificent 18th-century organ.
