It is one of the most important and modern zoos in Mexico. It is located near the Barranca de Huentitán, occupying an area of 34 hectares. At the entrance stairs, you can see the "Chimpanzee Fountain," a work by Sergio Bustamante.
The Masai Mara Safari invites you to discover Africa in a savannah-like environment with a great diversity of animals such as elephants, ostriches, hippos, rhinos, and giraffes.
In the Antarctica section, you can admire the friendly penguins.
The Amazonia area showcases species from the tropical rainforests of the Amazon, including colorful macaws.
In the Tropical Jungle, you can encounter animals such as jaguars, chimpanzees, anteaters, and impressive tigers.
Other interesting areas include the Herpetarium, Monkeyland with various primate species, the Australian Village with several kangaroos, the ranch with domestic animals, and Michilia with black bears and Mexican wolves.

Calle Paseo del Zoológico 600, Huentitán El Alto, Guadalajara, Jal. It is located 7 km, approximately 15 minutes from downtown Guadalajara.
Hours
School season: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs.
Holiday season: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs.
