Casa de la Cultura de Aguascalientes (House of Culture)
A neoclassical building located behind the cathedral, built in 1625.
It was one of the city's first buildings and had several owners until it was occupied by the teaching nuns in 1807 to establish a girls' school.
In 1886, the convent was transformed into the Seminary College of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, it had various functions until it was decided in 1967 to grant the building to the Aguascalientes Institute of Fine Arts, currently the Cultural Institute of Aguascalientes, which also includes a music school.
