Its gray quarry facade embodies the principles of Baroque architecture in Puebla.
It was designed by the Spanish architect Francisco de Aguilar, and the decorative work was executed by the master stonemason Nicolás de Origuen, who completed it in 1629.
Both the arched entrance and the linteled choir window feature cushion-like decorations.
Inside, you can admire various colonial-era oil paintings on canvas.
It is located next to the San Marcos Temple.
