Templo de San Fernando
Dating back to 1755, it was part of a vast monastic complex built by the Franciscan Order.Â
It has a beautiful Baroque facade, several valuable works of art, and a richly decorated altar. The choir still preserves a magnificent carved wooden seating arrangement.
Here lie the remains of Viceroy Bernardo de Gálvez, famous for erecting the Chapultepec Castle.Â
It is located in front of Plaza San Fernando, a pleasant and peaceful corner full of history, and on one side, you'll find the cemetery of the same name.
