Santuario el Pezma
An ecological tourism recreational center located within the Filobobos Reserve. The region's rich biodiversity makes El Pezma Sanctuary an authentic paradise for thrilling activities.
It spans 28 hectares of tropical forest with impressive waterfalls, rivers, springs, and natural pools.
Taking advantage of this setting, the camp organizes water activities such as kayaking, rafting, and swimming. There is also an exciting 200-meter-long and 20-meter-high zip line that crosses the river, as well as rope swings and jumping into the pools.
El Pezma Sanctuary also organizes climbing and rappelling excursions to the nearby rock walls, as well as interpretive jungle hiking and horseback riding.
Along the river, there are three tipis and tents available for overnight stays. Nearby, you'll find the Tomata Waterfall, a 23-meter-high cascade that forms an incredible rainbow and creates smaller waterfalls as it flows over the rocks.
