The Museum of Viceregal Art is housed in a former hospital building dating back to 1545 and features a large courtyard surrounded by arches.

The exhibition includes objects related to medicine, the history of the building, and a collection of colonial-era paintings.

The museum also offers a temporary exhibition hall and serves as the venue for concerts by the State Symphony Orchestra.
