An amazing museographic space located in one of the oldest buildings in Saltillo dating back to the first half of the 17th century.
In the early 20th century, the building was occupied by the National Bank of Mexico, and locals nicknamed it the "Banco Purcell."
The museum is an alternate venue for the Pinacoteca del Ateneo Fuente collection and exhibits unique pieces, artworks, manuscripts of artistic, historical, and archaeological interest.
The building has two floors and includes themes such as natural history, herbal medicine, scientific instruments, photographic exhibitions, an area for the Pinacoteca, and a site museum with utensils from the 18th and 19th centuries.
