Puerta de Tierra (Earth Gate)
Its importance lies in being the main land exit of the ancient Villa de San Francisco de Campeche.
Built in 1732, it retains its imposing splendor, with intact gunports, casemates, and warehouses.
It used to have adjoining rooms for the guard, as well as a side entrance.
In its vestibule, you can observe a bronze cannon made in France in the 18th century.
