The “Palacio del Ayuntamiento” was built on the foundations of the former audiencia.
Its current neoclassical design dates back to the beginning of this century when it was reconstructed, presenting a harmonious facade with the portals.
It has two floors, and on the exterior, a series of windows harmonize the ensemble. In the center, there is a balcony where the national flag waves during national holidays.
Inside its interior courtyard, there is a beautiful marble staircase.
