Pinacoteca del Templo de La Compañía

The building belongs to the complex of the Temple and House of the Society of Jesus, built between 1747 and 1765.

To the left of the High Altar is a carved wooden door that leads to a splendid nave.

It used to be the sacristy and now houses the most important pictorial works of three styles: tequitqui, viceregal, and neoclassical.

There are collections dating from the 17th to the 19th century by European painters, canvases by Miguel Cabrera, Baltasar Echave Orio, and José de Ibarra.

The place also offers temporary exhibitions and hosts various cultural events.
