The Parish of the Sanctuary of Saint Sebastian is located in the Main Square in the heart of León.
Originally built in 1589, it underwent reforms in its facade in the 19th century and in the tower in the 18th century. It stands out for its oil paintings and a pipe organ in the choir.
The construction of the altarpiece and its decoration began in 1629, and in 1835 the baptismal font was installed.
The main facade is made of quarry stone, while the walls are made of stone. The portal located to the north was built in the 17th century, and the tower was built in the 18th century. The main facade, which replaced the original one, dates back to the 19th century.
Inside, the life of Saint Sebastian is illustrated through incredible paintings, making it one of the historic temples for the locals.
In 1918, the church received a relic of Saint Sebastian.
