The site of Juárez Park was previously occupied by the San Francisco Convent, whose construction was initiated by Hernán Cortés and completed in 1534. The park is built on a plateau located in the heart ofthe city's original four neighborhoods.
It is considered the central garden of Xalapa, with majestic Araucaria trees. The park is home to the Ágora, a venue for important cultural events.
From the park, you can enjoy an excellent panoramic view of the city, and there are food stalls available. Additionally, it hosts various musical performances.
