Parque Bicentenario de Coatzacoalcos
This is a small zoo located within the lighthouse where you can observe over 200 animals from 18 different species, such as crocodiles, spider monkeys, ferrets, badgers, raccoons, and jaguars. It also has an aviary.
In the park, you can not only admire the different animal species but also have the opportunity to learn more about the region's flora, as you will be able to observe ahuehuetes, xolotixochitl, and ceibas.
The museum offers workshops for children to learn more about the fauna of Veracruz.
Guided tours are offered on weekends, and don't forget to visit the interesting Lighthouse Museum where you can find various pieces related to the nautical theme and some pieces from the Olmec culture.
