Museo Universitario de Artes Populares "María Teresa Pomar"

The University Museum of Popular Arts occupies a historic building that was inhabited by Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla from March to November 1792.

The museum's purpose is to rescue, preserve, and promote the folklore and craftsmanship of the state of Colima and its surroundings. It exhibits a magnificent collection of masks, everyday and religious utensils, traditional costumes, musical instruments, as well as a display of pottery and many other objects.

In this place, you can see all the different craft branches that are practiced in the country.

Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 hrs. Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 hrs.
