The museum houses over 1,200 pieces that showcase the anthropological and paleontological characteristics of the peninsula.

Throughout its four halls, you can see fossils, petroglyphs, photographs of rock paintings and missions, as well as regional crafts.

It features an ethno-botanical garden, an area with exhibits of pieces belonging to the Mesoamerican culture, a specialized library, and the Ágora de La Paz where lectures and workshops are held.
