Olga Acosta and José Chávez Morado Museum

The building that now houses the museum originated in the 16th century when it was the Hacienda de Guadalupe.

This building was closed during the War of Independence.

The adaptation project of the building was personally directed by Master José Chávez Morado.

The ground floor of the building displays furniture, various glass and ceramic objects, altarpieces, masks, and a collection of pre-Hispanic pieces.

The museum showcases a collection of 70 oil paintings by these artists.
