Contemporary Art Museum MACAY
The building was constructed in the early 17th century.
Throughout the centuries, it has served as offices and commercial establishments.
The museum features a significant collection of contemporary art. It has permanent exhibitions of works by Yucatecan artists such as Gabriel Ramírez, Fernando García Ponce, and Fernando Castro Pacheco, the painter of the murals in the Government Palace.
It houses a collection of over 400 works and also hosts temporary exhibitions by artists from across the country. In front of the entrance, there is a permanent exhibition of sculptures.
This museum offers a library, cafeteria, video room, educational services, bookstore, and restrooms.
