Museo del Estado de Michoacán
Located in an 18th-century mansion.
It consists of three sections: Archaeology, covering the prehistoric period to the creation of the Tarascan empire; the History section, narrating the period from the conquest to the Cardenismo era; and the third section focuses on the Ethnology of the eight regions of the state.
The museum includes an antique pharmacy dating back to 1868.
It also features a library and an auditorium used for various cultural activities such as concerts, book presentations, and conferences.
