Museo de Sitio, ex Convento de Santa Cruz de Santiago Tlatelolco y Caja de Agua (Site Museum)

It is located in the Former Convent of Santa Cruz de Santiago Tlatelolco.

The convent was built with stones from the ancient teocalli, at the back of the archaeological zone.

It consists of two levels where a selection of archaeological pieces is exhibited, including the notable wooden Tlaloc vessel.

There is a Water Box where fragments of the oldest mural painting in New Spain are preserved, depicting a scene from the daily life of the inhabitants of the lakes in the Mexico basin in the 16th century.
