The Museum of the Highlands of Chiapas is located on the ground floor of the Santo Domingo de Guzmán Ex-Convent.

This is a beautiful colonial building where you can see the masterful indigenous interpretation of the Baroque.

It houses an interesting collection of art from the 17th to the 19th centuries.

In the back of the upper floor of the same building, you will find the World Maya Textile Center, with a permanent exhibition of textiles from Chiapas and Guatemala, comprising over 2,400 items including clothing and crafts.
