Revolution Museum on the Border: Former Customs Building
It is housed in a red brick building with a strong European influence that used to serve as the "Border Customs."
The building has a history, as it was the setting for the Díaz-Taft meeting, the first meeting of the presidents of both countries. Later in 1911, Francisco I. Madero installed the Provisional National Palace here. In the same year, the Ciudad Juárez Treaties were also signed here, in which Porfirio Díaz committed to resigning from the Presidency of the Republic. In 1913, Francisco Villa established his headquarters in this building, and months later, Venustiano Carranza used it to establish his offices.
Currently, it is a museum with ten rooms that tells the story of the Revolution through photographs, maps, historical artifacts, and interactive devices.
