Museo de la Restauración de la República
It is part of the facilities of the Capuchinas Convent, built during the second decade of the 18th century.
The area occupied by this new museum has been completely remodeled, preserving the original appearance of the period, including ancient wall decorations and other original beauties of the building.
The museum exhibits documents, photographs, books, and various objects that illustrate relevant events from the times of Maximilian of Habsburg and Juárez.
It has a temporary exhibition hall, a bookstore, and a library that contains works mainly related to the subject of the Empire and the Restoration of the Republic, as well as historical works of general interest.
