La Katrina Museum

This original space has ten rooms.

Throughout the rooms, the story of the central character José Guadalupe Posada's "La Catrina" is told through the exhibition of various Mexican folk art objects. It is a magical space full of mysticism that portrays the ironic Mexican perspective on death.

Inside the museum, there is a space that narrates over 50 legends of the city through objects found in old houses such as paintings, furniture, or sculptures, giving the stories a greater sense of realism.

Additionally, there is another space that tells the story of how President Francisco I. Madero conducted spiritual sessions.

Location

Allende Sur No. 720, Centro Histórico, Saltillo, Coah.
