Museo de la Fauna de Veracruz
The Fauna Museum is located in what used to be the House of Art at the top of Macuiltepetl Hill.
It consists of 8 rooms with various themes related to the fauna of the state, such as Veracruz Habitats, Amphibians, Reptiles, Birds, Mammals, Conservation and Sustainable Use, and screenings. It also features a module of the Cloud Forest and a butterfly collection.
Additionally, the museum has a herpetarium with species native to the area and a collection of trained birds of prey that fly freely in the surroundings.
The museum offers workshops, courses, and guided tours. There is also a library with books related to the region's biodiversity and a collection of over 10,000 photographs of Veracruz's fauna.

Located at the highest point of Macuiltepetl Ecological Park. Known address: Cima del Parque, Col. Progreso Macuiltepetl, Xalapa, Veracruz.
