Museo de la Ciudad de Tuxtla Gutiérrez

The City Museum is located in a building constructed in 1941, formerly the City Hall.

It consists of 18 premises on the ground floor and 20 on the upper floor, where the history of the city is presented, starting from its Zoque origins, through the Spanish conquest era and the role of the Dominicans in the colonial period, the Porfiriato, the Tuxtla Revolution, up to the current socio-cultural development.

This space is also used to present various artistic expressions.
