The Museum of History and Curiosities of San Cristóbal showcase the traditions and magic of Jovel, through topics related to the history of San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Within the exhibition, you will find the first newspaper that arrived in San Cristóbal, the first bicycle, the first car, a sewing machine from 1914, an Edison phonograph from 1906, the smallest marimba, 19th-century crafts, and even banknotes from the Bank of Chiapas.
