Shell Museum
The museum showcases a splendid collection of shells and seashells of all shapes, sizes, and colors.
The building that houses the museum has two levels surrounded by large windows. On the first floor, a wide variety of crafts from the state, mainly made from these marine products from different parts of our country, are exhibited and available for sale.
The second floor displays some bones from the skeleton of a whale. The setting is complemented by a marine scene made of corals. Another attraction on the upper floor is a stunning circular fountain, completely decorated with shell and seashell figures and ornaments, creating a marine ambiance while a gentle constant curtain of water forms a multi-colored waterfall.
Additionally, in this part of the museum, there are seven meticulously decorated fish tanks containing fish easily found in the region.
