The Natural Sciences Museum is located within the Matlatzinca Recreational Park and has a circular architecture.

Its six permanent rooms cover different aspects of natural sciences, such as the universe and the solar system, geology, the biodiversity of the State of Mexico, lepidopterans, insects, and ecology.

It has an auditorium where conferences and other activities are held, as well as a space dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
