It was the home of a famous journalist and chronicler of the city, Armando Fuentes Aguirre "Catón."

The museum exhibits an interesting collection of personal belongings, furniture from the former residents, as well as radio and film devices, recordings on discs from different eras, a video library, and a cultural radio station.

It also has a small auditorium that can be used as a cinema or event venue.
