The Museum of Modern Art is housed in a modern circular building.

Taking advantage of this shape, the artist Leopoldo Flores created an incredible mural called "Periplo plástico" that runs through the entire wall of the auditorium.

The museum's three rooms house a collection that includes works by Siqueiros, Anguiano, Sebastián, Pedro Coronel, José Clemente Orozco, Carlos Mérida, Gerardo Murillo, Juan O'Gorman, Juan Soriano, Rufino Tamayo, Francisco Toledo, Francisco Zúñiga, among others.
