In the 1970s, it became a bowling alley, and in November 1998, it was transformed into an Art Museum offering three galleries.
Works by internationally renowned artists such as José Luis Cuevas, Rufino Tamayo, Antonio López Sáenz, Leopoldo Flores, Pedro Coronel, Edgardo Coglahal, Francisco Toledo, and Vicente Rojo are exhibited.
Temporary exhibitions of young local, national, and international painters are also held in the museum. The museum also hosts theater and painting events and workshops for children.
